We provide the assessment, investigation and treatment of problems of the elbow, wrist and hand and patient with nerve problems. We are happy to receive referrals from doctors, physiotherapists, nurses and self-referral by patients.
Once a patient has been referred or calls the Hand Clinic they will be given an appointment. When they are seen they can bring with them whoever they want. They will be asked to explain their problem. The relevant area of the body will be examined and tests may be ordered. We can undertake X-rays immediately and organise a full range of specialist scans very quickly.
Once a diagnosis has been made advice will be given about treatment. We always try to involve our patients as much as possible in the decision making so they can find the treatment that suits them best.
