Little or Fowler release (Dupuytren's surgery)

A little finger Dupuytren's fasciectomy (release) has been performed, but the end joint (DIP joint) is still i.e. will not bend

The dorsal transverse incision is marked

The skin is spread to expose the underlying extensor (straightening) tendon

The extensor tendon is carefully divided

Full bending (flexion) is regained

Extension is also maintained
